GoDaddy COVID-19 Employee and Candidate Support

Minimizing impact. Adapting to support our talent.

COVID-19 has created an uncertain situation for all of us.

GoDaddy’s leadership team is continuously taking the necessary steps and transforming our business to meet the needs of the small businesses we serve. As we navigate this challenging time, the safety of our employees and our candidates are our top priority.

What GoDaddy's doing.

Here’s what we’re doing to protect those most important to us:

For candidates

  • We’ve changed how we interview. For the foreseeable future, all interviews will be on video. We understand that you may need to interview with kids, dogs or other distractions around you. We might too.
  • We’ve decided to stop participating in live conferences and recruiting events. We’re looking at ways to connect virtually with our communities and can’t wait to get back out there when the time is right.

For our employees

  • We’ve brought our teams home. Nearly every one of our 7,000+ employees is able to work from home during this time. We’ve closed most offices to keep our teams safe.
  • We’re communicating constantly. From AMA’s with our CEO to internal blog posts and Slack channels, it’s important to us to have an open dialogue with our teams about how we’re moving forward.
  • We’re onboarding and training remotely. No need to come in for your first day or to pick up equipment. We’ve got you.
  • We’ve suspended all business travel. Home is the best place for us all to be right now.
  • We’re being flexible. Employees are having open conversations with their managers about how they can best do their work while caring for their families and themselves.
